Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Went to the Viking Classic

Des Moines, Iowa – Graceland University Women's Outdoor Track and Field team would take on the Viking Classic hosted by Grand View University.

The Yellowjackets would have 18 place top ten and 11 place top five. In first place, Caitlin Grover in the 5000-Meter Run (21:01.97), Mickenzie Fisher in the 10000-Meter Run (43:09.95) and Graceland 'A' in the 4x100-Meter Relay (50.54). Sidney Gilliland in the High Jump (1.50m) and Deniyah Lockman in the Triple Jump (9.90m) finished second. In third, Cassandra Nelson in the 5000-Meter Run (22:21.07), Alissa Caruso in the 10000-Meter Run (46:01.67) and Kady Vandemark in the Discus Throw (36.97m). Jacey Lewis in the 100-Meter Hurdles (19.34) and Kady Vandemark in the Hammer Throw (45.78m), and Shot Put (11.84m)
