Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Ends Day at the Heart Conference Championship; Clifton and Gilliland Took Second Place

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Graceland University Women's Outdoor Track and Field team took on the Heart of America Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.

The Yellowjackets tied in sixth place with the Baker Wildcats. Graceland had 15 athletes placed in the top ten and nine finished in the top five. In second place was Eden Clifton (12.34) in the 100-Meter Dash and in High Jump Sidney Gilliland (1.60m). Both Ashlynn Perkins (3692) in the Heptathlon and Keagan Perkins (19:32.37) in the 5000-Meter Run placed third. In fourth place; was Eden Clifton (25.53) in the 200-Meter Dash, and in the 5000-Meter Race, Walk Mackenzie Fisher (33:27.68). Athletes who placed fifth are; Keagan Perkins (19:32.37) in the 5000-Meter Run, Ambar Fulgencio (2.95m) in Pole Vault and Shot Put, and Kady Vandemark (12.59m).
