
Graceland Women's Basketball Secures Dominant Win Over William Penn
LAMONI, Iowa – The Graceland University women's basketball team secured a commanding 73-54 victory over William Penn University on Saturday afternoon at the Morden Center. With the win, the Yellowjackets improve to 7-13 overall and 5-11 in Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) play, while William Penn drops to 3-17 overall and 2-14 in conference action.
Graceland's offensive execution and defensive pressure were pivotal in the victory, as they held William Penn to just 33.9% shooting from the field and forced 19 turnovers. The Yellowjackets capitalized with 19 points off turnovers and maintained control on the glass with a 39-33 rebounding edge.

Graceland took a slim 15-14 lead at the end of the first quarter and built momentum heading into halftime with an 18-8 second-quarter surge. The Yellowjackets extended their lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Statesmen 15-13, and closed out the game with a dominant 25-19 fourth quarter to seal the victory.
