
Men's Soccer Wiman, Dailey, and Guzman Earn HAAC Soccer Honors
LAMONI, Iowa – Graceland University is proud to announce that three of its men's soccer standouts have been recognized by the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) for their outstanding performances during the 2024 season. Adam Wiman (Fr., Olathe, Kan.) was named Second Team All-Conference as a center back, Tyler Dailey (Sr., Lee's Summit, Mo.) earned Second Team honors as a midfielder, and Kendall Guzman (So., Upala, Costa Rica) was named to the Third Team as a midfielder.
Wiman anchored the Yellowjacket defense, starting all 17 matches and contributing one assist. His defensive prowess and leadership helped Graceland post five shutouts and maintain a 1.49 goals-against average across the season. Wiman's efforts were instrumental in Graceland's ability to compete in tight conference matchups, including a 1-0 win over Baker University.
Dailey, a versatile midfielder, led by example with three goals and one assist, tallying seven points on the season. He was a key playmaker, generating 31 shots, 17 of which were on target, for a .548 shots-on-goal percentage. His composure in critical moments was exemplified in matches like the 3-1 victory over Culver-Stockton.
Guzman added creativity to the midfield, scoring three goals and recording one assist. Known for his vision and passing accuracy, Guzman registered 21 shots, with eight on goal. His contributions included a crucial game-winner in the 2-1 victory at Midland University.
Graceland concluded the season with a 7-5-5 overall record, highlighted by competitive performances against top HAAC opponents.
