Graceland Flag Football Claims Two Wins at Rumble in Rockford

Rockford, IL – The Graceland University women's flag football team secured two victories in a three-game weekend at the Rumble in Rockford, hosted by Rockford University, March 21–22.

The Yellowjackets opened the event on Friday with a 27-7 loss to Siena Heights. Graceland rebounded with a dominant 32-0 shutout over Benedictine University (Ill.) on Saturday morning and closed the weekend with a 26-12 win against host Rockford later that afternoon.

"We are continuing to build confidence and consistency," head coach Aaron Richardson said. "I'm glad we're moving in the right direction."

The Yellowjackets will return to action Wednesday, March 26, when they host Midland University at Huntsman Field in Lamoni. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
