Graceland Sweeps Heart Cross Country Runner of the Week Awards

Overland Park, Kan. – The Heart of America Conference (HAAC) has announced the conference players of the week for the week ending Sunday, October 16. Ashlynn Perkins was named the Heart Women's Cross-Country Runner of the Week and Dillon Grover earned Heart Men's Cross-Country Runner of the Week

Heart Women's Cross-Country Runner of the Week

Ashlynn Perkins|Sr. | St. Peters, Mo.

Perkins and the Yellowjackets competed at the Indian Hills Invitational and the senior finished in first place with a time of 19:11. She finished ahead of 49 total runners in the 5K and Graceland finished in first place as a team. 

Heart Men's Cross-Country Runner of the Week

Dillon Grover | Jr. | Lee's Summit, Mo.

Grover won the Indian Hills Invitational with his time of 24:24. He raced past all 67 competitors in the 8K, as a team Graceland finished in fifth place.
