Assistant Athletic Trainer, Graceland University

Natasha Gourley has served as an assistant athletic trainer at Graceland University since November 2024. She currently works as the primary athletic trainer for women’s flag football and men’s volleyball.

Prior to joining Graceland, Gourley was the athletic trainer for Mount Ayr Community Schools, where she provided care for both middle school and high school student-athletes. Her coverage included football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track and field, golf, baseball, and softball, as well as support for dance and cheerleading. Before her time at Mount Ayr, she worked at Southwestern Community College, where she covered basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball.

Gourley earned her Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Fresno Pacific University in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Iowa State University in 2007.

In addition to her athletic training background, Natasha is a licensed paramedic in the state of Iowa and nationally certified. Since 2010, she has worked in both clinical and emergency settings, including in the emergency room and on the ambulance.

She is also the owner of RC Healthcare Training LLC, which she founded in 2020. Natasha is a certified instructor in several life-saving disciplines, including BLS for Healthcare Providers, Heartsaver CPR, AED, and First Aid. She is also an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor and teaches "Stop the Bleed" courses.

A native of Clearfield, Iowa, Natasha graduated from Mount Ayr Community High School in 2003. She currently resides in Clearfield with her husband, Mitch, and their two sons, Tytan and Brogan. In her free time, she enjoys attending her children’s sporting events and spending time with family.
