Women’s Track and Field Took on the Heart Conference Championship; Clifton Placed First

Maryville, Mo. – Graceland University Women's Indoor Track and Field team would take on the two-day Heart of America Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.

Graceland would finish ninth overall. The Yellowjackets had eight athletes place top ten. Finishing first Eden Clifton (7.75) in the 60-Meter Dash. Sidney Gilliland (1.60m) placed third in High Jump. In the 200-Meter Dash Eden Clifton (25.86) would finish fourth. Mickenzie Fisher (21:03.66) came in seventh in the 3000-Meter Race Walk. In eighth; Amelia Nyambuka (10.62m) in the Triple Jump, and the Graceland 'A' (14:24.35) in the Distance Medley. Trinity Hancock (10.44m) finished ninth in the Triple Jump. Graceland 'A' (4:23.09) finished tenth in the 4x400-Meter Relay.
