Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Competed at the Viking Classic

Des Moines, Iowa – Graceland University Men's Outdoor Track and Field team would take on the Viking Classic hosted by Grand View University.

The Yellowjackets would have 13 place top ten and ten place top five. In first place, Joseph Alexander in the Long Jump (7.34m) and Adrian Gatlin in the Triple Jump (13.47m). In third place, Cam Edwards in the Javelin Throw (36.70m), Moses Ridley in the 5000-Meter Run (17:42.29) and Deandre Scott in the Discus Throw (43.01m). Alexander Kalbach finished fourth in the 1500-Meter Run (5:01.83). Adrian Byrd in the Javelin Throw (34.24m), Deandre Scott in the Shot Put (14.09m), Tymar West in the 100-Meter Dash (11.88) and Dantre Kennybrew in the 400-Meter Hurdles (59.74) finished fifth.

The Men's Outdoor Track and Field Team will be back on Friday, May 3 when they travel to the Heart Of America Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Baker University.
