Men' Indoor Track and Field Concludes at the Grinnell Invite; The Yellowjackets had 14 Athletes Place Top Ten

Grinnell, Iowa. – Graceland University Men's Indoor Track and Field team took on the Grinnell Invitational.

The Yellowjackets had ten events that athletes place top ten and 14 athletes. The Yellowjackets athletes placed first in their events; in the 4x200-Meter Relay Graceland 'A' (1:31.64) and Michael Millslagle (2.08m) in High Jump. In Long Jump, Paul Marchand (6.88m) would place second. Finishing in fourth Malachi Heywood (7.18) in the 60-Meter. Davy Bancey (3.62m) in Pole Vault, Rene Romero (2:04.40) in the 800-Meter Dash and Paul Marchand (23.30) in 200-Meter Dash all placed fifth in their events. Graceland had Parker Chamberlin (3.32m) in Pole Vault, Jaquincy Bostick (1.71m) in High Jump, and Davy Bancey (9.39) in the 60-Meter Hurdles finish sixth. The Yellowjackets athletes who placed seventh in their events; Andrew Colyer (2:04.99) in the 800-Meter Dash and in the 400-Meter Dash Paul Marchand (53.96), Taking eighth in the 4x200-Meter Relay, Graceland 'B' (1:40.65). Finishing tenth, Hiram Anakalea (11.62m) in Shot Put.

The Yellowjackets 4x200-Meter Relay team established a new school record with a time of 1:31.64.

Michael Millslagle (2.08m) in High Jump and Paul Marchand (6.88m) in Long Jump would break meet records.

The Men's Indoor Track and Field Team will be back when they travel to Topeka, Kan to take part in the Two-Day Washburn Open. The meet will take place on Friday February 3 and Saturday February 4.
