Four Named to the 2023 Heart Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Teams

Overland Park, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is excited to announce the 2023 Heart Women's Volleyball All-Conference teams and postseason awards.

The 13 Heart head women's volleyball coaches selected the following 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention teams, as well as the Heart Player, Attacker, Setter, Defender, Freshman, Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year.

The Yellowjackets had four named to the list;

2023 Heart Third Team All-Conference
Addison Demesko| Sr. | Setter | Lee's Summit, Mo.
Demesko played in 27 matches for the Yellowjackets. She dished out 534 assists, averaging 5.34 per set and would also have 125 digs.

2023 Heart All-Conference Honorable Mention
Allison Long | So. | Middle Hitter / Outside Hitter | Norco, Calif.
The sophomore had 59 blocks, 34 aces and 197 kills for the Yellowjackets. She would accumulate 263.5 points on the season with a hitting percentage of .318.

2023 Heart All-Conference Honorable Mention
Arissa Carpenter | Sr. | Right-side Hitter / Outside Hitter | Raymore, Mo.
Carpenter would work in 285 kills, with a total of 302 points and added 3.0 points per set. She had 20 blocks for the Yellowjackets and had 82 digs.

2023 Heart All-Conference Honorable Mention
Brenna Crabtree | Jr. | Right-side Hitter / Outside Hitter | Fresno, Calif.
The senior would start in 26 matches for the Yellowjackets. She would add 321 kills with a hitting percentage of .142 and have 3.4 points per set. She would work the net with 23 blocks with seven solos.

2023 Heart Freshman of the Year – Arianna Marino – Park University
2023 Heart Coach of the Year – Michael Talamantes – Park University
2023 Heart Assistant Coach of the Year – Mateus Martins – Park University
