Women's Volleyball Caged Clarke

Lamoni, Iowa - The Graceland University women's volleyball team took on the Clarke University Pride. The Yellowjacket defeated the Pride, 3-0. Graceland moves to 7-15 on the season and 4-10 in conference.

Set 1: Graceland 25 | Clarke 19
The Yellowjackets would create distance with a five-point rally (11-7); key points from Brenna Crabtree (two kills), Kayla Watanabe (one kill) and Ali Gillen (one kill) from the service by Marlis Aviles. The Pride would close their deficit to one point (16-15), and the Yellowjackets would break their two-point jump with their own four-point rally (23-17). A kill by Brenna Crabtree would end set one, 25-19.

Set 2: Graceland 25 | Clarke 18
Graceland would enter the second set to lead 10-6. Clarke would produce a four-point jump to tie 10-10; they would tie again at 15-15. Graceland would work a 9-4 rally to take the second set. Key kills from Kaylee Baker and Brenna Crabtree and two aces by Hailey Kauweloa.

Set 3: Graceland 26 | Clarke 24
The Yellowjackets would push a four-point lead early from the service of Addison Demesko (6-2). The Pride would find their fire and have an 8-1 rally (11-8). Graceland would answer with a four-point jump with points from Hailey Kauweloa with back-to-back aces and an Ali Gillen kill. Clarke would retaliate and find the set point first (24-21). A crucial kill from Gillen would push the Yellowjackets to take the last five points of the set, and a Brenna Crabtree would close the match.
