Women's Volleyball Taken Down by Pioneers

Olathe, Kan. - The Graceland University women's volleyball team took on the MidAmerica Nazarene University Pioneers. The Yellowjacket were defeated by the Pioneers, 3-0. Graceland moves to 5-12 on the season and 2-7 in conference.

Graceland (5-12, 2-7) vs. MidAmerica Nazarene (9-8, 5-3)
Set 1: Graceland 24 | MidAmerica Nazarene 26
Graceland would create the first lead of four from a 7-2 run (8-4) with critical points from Shelby Jabour (ace) and Allison Long. The Yellowjackets would reach 20 points first, and the Pioneers would retaliate to close their deficit to a tie (22-22). MidAmerica would snatch three points to take the first set.

Set 2: Graceland 21 | MidAmerica Nazarene 25
The Pioneers would enter the second set offensively to take a five-point lead (10-5). The Yellowjackets would close the gap to one point from a 9-3 run (19-18), key points from Brenna Crabtree. MidAmerica would answer for a four-point run and hold the lead for the second set.

Set 3: Graceland 18 | MidAmerica Nazarene 25
Graceland would push an offensive with an 8-4 lead, and the Pioneers would answer for a 7-1-point jump to retake the lead. The Pioneers would hold their lead for the third set.
