Women's Volleyball Defeated by Park

Parkville, Mo - The Graceland University women's volleyball team took on the Park University Pirates. The Yellowjacket fell to the Pirates, 3-0. Graceland moves to 4-9 on the season and 1-4 in conference.

Set 1: Graceland 18 | Park 25
The Yellowjackets were able to work a lead first with points from Kaylee Baker, Ali Gillen, Arissa Carpenter and Brenna Crabtree. The Pirates would retaliate to take the lead with an eight-point jump (13-7). Graceland would work a 6-1 rally to close their deficit; Park would hold their advantage to take the first set.

Set 2: Graceland 17 | Park 25
Both teams would enter the second set competitively. Park would gain the first lead with a three-point rally (10-6), and the Pirate would work a six-point jump into the set (21-12). Graceland would have back-to-back kills from Brenna Crabtree (22-17). Park would hold their lead to take the second set.

Set 3: Graceland 13 | Park 25
Park would enter the third set to take an 8-1-point jump (8-2); a few points later, they would find a 6-point rally to hold an advantage of 11 points over the Yellowjackets. The Pirates would hold their advantage to take the third set.
