Women's Volleyball Defeated by Park on Senior Day.

Lamoni, Iowa - The Graceland University women's volleyball team went up against the No. 14 Park (Mo.) Pirates. The Yellowjackets were defeated 0-3, now 8-19 on the season and 3-13 in conference.

Prior to the game the Yellowjackets honored nine seniors; Izzi Smith, Mary Kelly, Rakenzy Pryor, Jordan Christy, Jadyn McBride, Tatum Butt, Maddy Maedel, Imani Solomon and Kyla Apolonio

Graceland (8-19, 3-13) vs. Park (21-4, 15-1)

Set 1: Graceland 24 | Park 26

Graceland started the offensive campaign, pulling a 13-7 lead, and was the first to reach 20 points from a four-point run started by the kill from Arissa Carpenter. The Pirates retaliated late in the set with a 7-1 rally to close the gap. Park snatched six of the remaining seven points to take the set.

Set 2: Graceland 17 | Park 25

Both teams came out hot, not giving the other a sizable lead. The Pirates grabbed the lead with six back-to-back points (12-19). Park would produce a .279 compared to the .051 of Graceland.

Set 3: Graceland 14 | Park 25

Graceland started the set from behind; they would come out to take a two-point lead from a kill by Megan Janok and a block by Rakenzy Pryor. Park would show a nine-point jump to take the lead (6-14), remain in the lead for the set, and take the match.
