Women's Volleyball Halted by No.11 Pioneers
Lamoni, Iowa - The Graceland University women's volleyball team took on the MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) Pioneers. The Yellowjackets were defeated 0-3, now 8-18 on the season and 3-12 in conference.

Set 1: Graceland 17 | MidAmerica Nazarene 25
Graceland started their offensive move early on (4-2). A kill from the Pioneers pushed them to gain seven to one Yellowjacket point (6-11). With the shift to a MidAmerica lead, Graceland would get within three, but The Pioneers would hold on for the set with a hitting percentage of 0.182 for ten kills from 33 attempts.
Set 2: Graceland 31 | MidAmerica Nazarene 33
The Yellowjackets would set the pace for the second set setting out a five-point run from an Arissa Carpenter Kill. The Pioneers would rally a 7-1 run to come within a point of the Yellowjackets. Late in the set, the Pioneers would knock back to tie the Yellowjackets (24-24). Both teams would fight to get the last two points; they would tie seven times and upend the Yellowjackets to take the second set.
Set 3: Graceland 22 | MidAmerica Nazarene 25
Continuing in the offensive pace of the game, neither team would give a sizable lead away. The Pioneers would find a two-point advantage to take the match.
