Women's Soccer Halted by Mount Mercy

Cedar Rapids, Iowa. - The Graceland University Women's Soccer went up against the Mount Mercy University Mustangs. The Yellowjackets fell to the Mustangs, 6-2. The Yellowjackets moved to 2-9-2 on the season and 0-5-1 in the Heart.

Scoring:
The Mustangs would get on the board within the first five minutes of play to take the lead. They would add two more goals (19-minute mark and 43-minute mark) to lead 3-0 heading into the second half.

Mount Mercy would work to add two more goals. The Yellowjackets would work to find the net. At the 73-minute mark, Mackenzie Melrose would pass off the ball to Sofia Pietra Martins to net the ball. Graceland would add their second goal from Emily Carmen, assisted by Arianna Gomez (2-5). The Mustangs would add their last goal to take the 6-2 victory.
