Parkville, Mo.- The Graceland University women's soccer took on the Park (Mo.) Pirates and were defeated, 4-2. The Yellowjackets move 1-9-1 and 0-7 in conference play.
The Scoring
The Pirates were able to find the back of the net first midway through the first half. Graceland's Emma Hellems retaliated with her own goal, assisted by McKell Yallop and Lely Kramer, ending the half with a 1-1 score.
The majority of the second half played out in a standstill. The Yellowjackets broke the tie with an unassisted goal by Adelia Bristot (2-1). Park found their groove, sinking two more goals to tie and take the lead to finish the game.
