Lamoni, Iowa - The Graceland University women's soccer took on the Mount Mercy (Iowa) Mustangs on their home turf. The Yellowjackets were defeated by the Mustangs, 2-1 and move 1-8-1 and 0-6 in conference play.
The Scoring
Graceland was able to get on the board first, with the only goal of the first half, from Celeste Robledo at the 34-minute mark.
The Mustangs retaliated early in the second half to tie the score. In the closing 10-minutes of the match, Mount Mercy was able to snatch the final goal.
Turning Point
Mount Mercy kept their heat up with shots, adding nine more than the Yellowjackets.
