Swift and Mbaruk Earn 2024 Heart Women’s Basketball All-Conference Honors

Overland Park, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2024 Heart All-Conference teams and postseason awards on Friday.
The Heart head coaches selected a Heart First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention All-Conference team, as well as All-Defensive team.

Heart Women's Basketball All-Conference Second Team
3 Alana Swift | Sr. | Guard |5-6 | Philadelphia, Pa.
Swift ended the regular season with 131 assists, 40 steals and 140 total rebounds. She would average 15.9 points per game with a total of 429. She would start in 26 of the 27 games she appeared in.

Heart Women's Basketball All-Conference Honorable Mention
23 Heaven Mbaruk | Sr. | Forward |5-11 | Converse, Texas
Mbaruk would start in all 28 games for the Yellowjackets. Averaging 7.1 rebounds per game with a total of 198 total rebounds. She would have 23 steals, and average 9.7 points per game with a total of 271. She would rank second in the NAIA for blocks with 45.

2024 Heart Women's Basketball Newcomer of the Year – Cleao Murray – Grand View
2024 Heart Women's Basketball Freshman of the Year – Kameron Green – MidAmerica Nazarene
2024 Heart Women's Basketball Assistant Coach of the Year – Haley Froelich – Clarke
