Four Earned Heart Softball All-Conference Honors

Overland Park, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its annual Heart Softball All-Conference teams and postseason award winners on Friday.

The All-Conference teams feature players from across the Heart and are listed as First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention.

Below you will also find the 2024 Heart Softball Gold Glove Team.

The individual awards and All-Conference teams were selected by the Heart Softball head coaches.

Heart Softball All-Conference Second Team Infield
42 Sammi Bradshaw | Sr. | Pitcher / Infield |5-8 | Livonia, Mo.
Bradshaw appeared in 40 games for the Yellowjackets. She would have a batting average of .358, with an on-base percentage of .430 and a slugging of .432. Worked in 34 hits and 20 RBIs with seven doubles. Bradshaw would work in 116 putouts with 15 assists. She would also see time on the mound, with 92.0 innings, an ERA of 1.75 for 103 strikeouts and 7.84 per seven-inning game.

Heart Softball All-Conference Honorable Mention
15 Rebecca Laire | So. | Infield | 5-5 | Fairfield, Iowa
The new Yellowjacket Laire would appear in 38 games. She would work in 31 putouts with 63 assists. She would have a batting average of .325, an on-base percentage of .380 and a slugging of .496. Laire would have 117 at-bats, working in 38 hits and 29 RBIs with 11 doubles and three home runs.

Heart Softball All-Conference Honorable Mention
33 Paige Cooper | Sr. | Utility | 5-4 | Spring Hill, Kan.
The senior would appear in all 48 games for the Yellowjackets. She would have a batting average of .317, with an on-base percentage of .509 and a slugging percentage of .625. Pushing 38 hits, with 11 doubles, one triple and eight home runs with 29 RBIs. Cooper would have 68 putouts and 61 assists.

Heart Softball All-Conference Honorable Mention
36 Marissa Buckallew | Jr. | Catcher | 6-0 | Lancaster, Mo.
Buckallew played 36 games for the Yellowjackets, recording 31 hits, eight doubles, five home runs, and 23 RBIs. She had a batting average of .326, an on-base percentage of .369, and a slugging percentage of .568. She also had 132 putouts and six assists.
