Softball Halted by the Wildcats

Lamoni, Iowa – The Graceland University Softball team took on the Culver-Stockton College Wildcats. The Yellowjackets were defeated by the Wildcats in game one with a final score of 5-4 and, in game two, 3-2 in nine innings.

Makensey Burghart started for the Yellowjackets and went in 2.0 innings. Samantha Bradshaw (L, 7-8) went into the mound for 1.1 innings, facing 19 batters. Abigail Rapp entered the game for 1.2 innings, facing six batters, allowing no run on one hit and having two strikeouts. Bre Smalls closed the game in 2.0 innings.
