Softball Grounded the Blue Jays

Fulton, Mo. – The Graceland University Softball team were defeated by the Westminster College Bluejays in a doubleheader. The Yellowjackets were defeated by the Blue Jays in game one, 14-2 and 9-1 in game two.

The Scoring – Game 1
T1 – The Yellowjackets would add four runs from a Blue Jays error, and Paige Cooper would score. Marissa Buckallew drilled a three-run homerun over the right field; Jayda Gay and Ries Wilson would cross the plate (GU: 4 | WC: 0)
T2Charlee Peters would score on a Samantha Bradshaw flyout to right field (GU: 5 | WC: 0)
B2 – The Blue Jays would get on the board with a homerun over left field (GU: 5 | WC: 1)

T4 – Two Graceland runs would score from a Blue Jays error for Holly Jessen to score and a Paige Cooper ground out to bring home Charlee Peters (GU: 5 | WC: 0)
T5 – Graceland would close their scoring by adding four runs. Holly Jessen would drill a single to third base to bring Jayda Gay home. Charlee Peters would drive a double to the right fight; Jessen and Taylor Beane would score. Sydnee McKinney singled to left field and brought Peters across the plate (GU: 9 | WC: 0)
