Softball Swept the Day; Both Games Ended in Five-Innings
Columbia, Mo. – The Graceland University Softball team travelled to Columbia, Mo., to compete against the Briar Cliff University Chargers, the William Woods University Owls and the Stephens College Stars. On day three, the Yellowjackets split; Graceland took game one against the Chargers in five innings, 11-3, and defeated the Stars 18-1,

T1 – The Charger got on the board with one from a bases-loaded walk (GU:0 | BC:1)
T2 – Briar Cliff adds two more from an RBI single and a fielder's choice (GU:0 | BC:3)
B2 – The Yellowjackets would add five. Ries Wilson would start the runs off with a solo home run. Taylor Beane would score off the RBI single from Holly Jessen, and Jayda Gay would single to left to bring in Grace Francis. A Charger wild pitch and a walk would also bring in runs (GU:05 | BC:3)
B3 – Graceland would cap their scoring by adding six runs. C Peters would RBI double to score Taylor Beane. C Peters would cross the plate from Corry Pickering's RBI single. T2 – Marissa Buckallew crushed a homerun adding one. Grace Francis would cross the plate off the RBI single from Samantha Bradshaw (GU:5 | SC:0)
T3 – Graceland would add three runs, and Marissa Buckallew drove the ball to bring Ries Wilson home. An RBI single from Grace Francis would score two; Buckallew and Morina Goodwin (GU:8 | SC:0)
