Grant Gansemer Competes at 2021 College National Finals Rodeo

LAMONI - The Graceland University Rodeo team was represented by Grant Gansemer at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) earlier this week in Casper, Wyoming. Hosted by the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA), Gansemer qualified to compete on the national stage in Steer Wrestling.

Gansemer was one of over 40 competitors in the Steer Wrestling finals. His Steer Wrestling opponents were among schools from all Divisions in the NCAA as well as the NAIA. He had a run of 8.6 seconds in his second round. Grant's time placed him 34th overall in the event.

With the conclusion of the National Finals Rodeo, this completes the inaugural season of the Graceland University Rodeo team. The Graceland University Athletic Department extends their congratulations to Grant and the entire rodeo program.
