Anthony Yerardi Resigns as Head Men’s Volleyball Coach

Lamoni, Iowa – Graceland University Athletic department has announced the resignation of their Head Men's Volleyball Coach, Anthony Yerardi.

Yerardi spent three seasons with the Yellowjackets men's volleyball program. During that time, Anthony worked to create a culture of positivity and hard work. Passing along his passion and knowledge for the game as well as the culture they created. The program is in a good place for the next head coach.

Always unselfish, Yerardi also stepped in this fall to act as assistant coach for the women's volleyball program when a late departure left the team with a need.

"You never forget the school that gave you your first head coaching opportunity. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Graceland University," Yerardi said. "The people made me feel a part of the blue and gold family the last three years. I look forward to seeing the new coach build on the foundation that has been laid, and I can't wait to cheer on the team next year. Go jackets!

"We are incredibly appreciative of Anthony and what he's done for the Graceland men's and women's volleyball programs during his time," Athletic Director Brady McKillip said. He led Graceland through a time of transition and worked to create a foundation. I know this wasn't easy for him, but I respect his decision and wish him nothing but the best."
