Men's Soccer Defeated by the Ravens.

Lamoni, Iowa - The Graceland University men's soccer took on the Benedictine (Kan.) Ravens and were defeated in tough matchup, 2-3. The Yellowjackets move 5-6-3 and 2-5-2 in conference play.

The Scoring

The Ravens found the back of the net at the 5-minute mark, taking the 0-1 lead heading into the second half.

Graceland found their groove by putting up back-to-back goals in the second half, the first goal came from Lucas Porter (51:37 minute), and the second came within a minute from the foot of Nicolo Monacelli. The Ravens were able to tie the score at the 72- minute mark (2-2). Late in the second half, Benedictine took the lead and would be the victory from a footed goal (2-3).

Turning Point

Benedictine was able to capitalize on a goalie kick that created the opening for the final goal of the game.
