Lamoni, Iowa - The Graceland University men's soccer took on the Mount Mercy (Iowa) Mustangs on their home turf. The Yellowjackets tied with the Mustangs, 2-2 and move 4-4-3 and 1-3-2 in conference play.
The Scoring
The Yellowjackets worked early in the half; Cristobal Ponce found the back on the net off a penalty kick. The Mustangs worked and fought at the net to find their own goal of the half.
Both teams fought to be competitive in the second half. At the 33-minute mark, a header from Lucas Porter gave the Yellowjackets the advantage. Mount Mercy found their path for the net, evening the score (2-2).
