Des Moines, Iowa. – The Graceland University men's soccer team traveled to Des Moines, Iowa and were defeated by the Grand View (Iowa) Vikings, 3-4. They move to 4-2-2 on the season and 1-1-1 in conference play.
The Scoring
The Vikings were the only ones to find the net early in the first half, creating a two-point lead.
The Yellowjackets started the first half with Cristobal Ponce cutting their deficit. The Vikings retaliated with their own second-half goal at the 64-minute mark. Moise Ndatabaye found the net a minute later, assisted by Alonso Camps. For his second goal of the half Ponce got passed the goalkeeper to even the score. With less than five minutes remaining, the Vikings ended the score and took the game.
