Lamoni, Ia. – The Graceland University men's soccer team hosts the William Woods (Mo.) Owls in this afternoon's matchup. The Yellowjackets defeated the Owls 3-2 and are now 1-0-1 on the season.
The Scoring
Cristobal Ponce gave Graceland their first goal of the contest after a scramble in front of the net for a penalty kick at the 22-minute mark.
The Yellowjackets wasted no time extending their lead with Nicolo Monacelli's goal assisted by Mario Lozano's pass. The Owls answered with their own from Emilio Ruiz passing the ball to Michael Bhat to kick it in. The game's final goal came from Stan Suhit, who dribbled to find the back of the net.
