Football Halted by Peru State from Late Touchdown in Conference Opener
Peru, Neb. – The Graceland University football traveled to taking on the Peru State College Bobcats. The Yellowjackets were defeated by the Bobcats, 37-31 and move to 3-4 on the season and 0-1 in the Heart.

Quarter 1 Graceland 0 | Peru State 3
The Yellowjacket defense would hold the Bobcats to a field goal in the first half (3-0; 12-minute mark).
Quarter 2: Graceland 3 | Peru State 14
The deadlock quarter would end with a Peru State touchdown at the 2-minute mark; they would add a second touch moments later.
Graceland would work a seven-play drive (35 yards) to add a Jacob Collett 45-yard field goal.
Quarter 3: Graceland 21 | Peru State 7
The Yellowjackets would find their fire at the 12-minute mark for a Tre Blake 11-yard touchdown from Louis Williams. The Bobcats would answer with a 26-yard touchdown (8-minute mark).
Within the last five minutes of the third quarter, the Yellowjackets would hold the Bobcats. Graceland would add a 5-yard Felix Wade touchdown from Louis Williams. Williams would find the endzone to even the score. Graceland heads into the fourth quarter, 24-24.
Quarter 4: Graceland 7 | Peru State 13
The Bobcats would lead at the nine-minute mark, 31-24. The Yellowjackets would respond by entering the endzone from a Felix Wade 55-yard touchdown from Louis Williams; Jacob Collett's extra point was good.
A late touchdown from the recovered forced fumble by Graceland would put the Bobcats ahead for a 37-31 victory.
