Monroe Awarded NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -  Gerald Monroe of Graceland (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week. Ja'Kobe Clinton from Southeastern (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week.  Jordan Kempf of Peru State (Neb.) has been named the NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week. 

The trio was selected based on their performances from September 4-10 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week

Gerald Monroe, Graceland (Iowa) - SO - Wide Receiver

  • Caught 10 passes for 197 yards
  • Totaled four touchdowns for the Yellowjackets
  • Helped upset No. 7 Benedictine (Kan.) 37-35
