Cheer Takes Ninth at the 2024 Heart Cheer Championship; Smith Named Co-Coach of the Year

Baldwin City, Kan. – The Graceland University Cheer Team took on the Heart of America Athletic Conference Competitive Dance.

In the preliminary round of competition, the Yellowjackets finished ninth with a score of. 47.32. The Yellowjakcets would finish their final performace with a score of 44.39. Graceland would finish ninth with an overall score of 45.13. Missouri Valley placed first with a final score of 90.00 and the runner up was MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) with a final score of 86.38.

The Conference awards were announced;

2024 Heart of America Athletic Conference Competitive Cheer Co-Coach of the Year: Kendall Smith for the consecutive year.
