Baseball Takes Series Victory Over the Vikings

Des Moines, Iowa – The Graceland University Baseball team competed on the road in a four-game series against Grand View University Vikings. The Yellowjackets fell to the Vikings in game three 7-1 and would claim game four 2-1.

T1 – The Yellowjackets got on the board with a ground out from Kamaehu Sanchez; Keith Whitaker scored (GU:1 | GV: 0)
B5 – The Vikings added two runs from a double and a sacrifice fly to center field (GU:1 | GV: 2)
B6 – Grand View would cap their scoring by adding five runs; on a bases-loaded walk, a balk and a pair of Yellowjacket errors (GU:1 | GV: 7)

Game 3 Individual Leaders
Roger Camacho would step to the mound in 5.2 innings; he faced 27 batters and had two strikeouts. Jorge Diaz closed the game on the mound for 0.1 innings and faced three batters.

Game 4 Individual Leaders
Felix Lopez would get the win; he went 4.2 innings, faced 19 batters and had four strikeouts. Mason Krogsgaard would step to the mound for 1.1 innings and faced five batters. Zach Tanabe would get the save and close the game for 1.0 innings and faced four batters.
