Baseball Defeated in Doubleheader to the Mustangs

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – The Graceland University Baseball team competed on the road in a four-game series against the Mount Mercy University Mustangs. The Yellowjackets felling game one 4-3 in eight-innings and were scratched in game two 8-2.

B1 – The Mustangs added three runs from a Yellowjacket error and a two-run homerun (GU:0 | MMU: 3)
T3Skyler Harris would cross the plate from the JD Woodruff single through the right side (GU:1 | MMU: 3)
T4 – Graceland would add two runs from Austin Wheeler's single to left field. Elio Narvaez and Jacob Lopez would score (GU:3 | MMU: 3)

T7 – The Yellowjackets would get on the board and score two, bases loaded Kamaehu Sanchez walk; Trevor Yorges scored, and Jake Bigham crossed the plate on a Mustang wild pitch (GU:2 | MMU:8)

Game 2 Individual Leaders
Elio Narvaez stepped to the mound for the start and went for 2.0 innings; he faced 14 batters. Jacob Popovich would come in for 4.0 innings; he would sit down two and faced 18 batters.
The Yellowjackets had five hits, led by five Yellowjackets.
