Lamoni, Iowa – The Graceland University Baseball team competed at home in a four-game series against the Clarke (Iowa) University Pride. The Yellowjackets felling game one 9-5 and were scratched in game two 10-2.

The Scoring – Game 1
T1 – The Pride would get on the board first, scoring two runs from an RBI single and a sacrifice fly (GU:0 |CU:2)
T2 – Three Clarke runs would cross the plate from a triple to score two and a double (GU:0 |CU:5)
B2Elio Narvaez's single to center field would bring home Jacob Lopez. Keith Whitaker reached on a Pride error to bring home Narvaez (GU:2|CU:5)
T4 – Clarke added two runs from an RBI double and single (GU:2|CU:7)
B4 – The Yellowjackets would bring in two runs from a Keith Whitaker base-loaded walk to push Austin Wheeler across the plate. A Pride catcher interference would bring home Elio Narvaez (GU:4|CU:7)
T5 – The Pride would cap their scoring by bringing in two runs from a single and a stolen base (GU:4|CU:9)
B5Jacob Lopez drilled the ball over the leftfield fence for a solo homerun (GU:5|CU:9)

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Izaac Rabelo started the game, going 3.0 inning; he faced 18 batters and had four strikeouts. Felix Lopez stepped to the mound for 1.2 innings, seeing 11 batters and getting three strikeouts. Jacob Popovich stepped to the mound for 0.1 innings and faced two batters to end the inning. Mason Krogsgaard would close the game in 2.0 innings.

Game 2 Individual Leaders
Roger Camacho stepped to the mound for the start and went for 3.2 innings; he faced 21 batters. Rafael Severino would come in for 2.1 innings, faced 13 batters, had two strikeouts, allowed two hits, and had no runs. Jorge Diaz went into the game to close 1.0 innings; he faced seven batters.
