Lorensen Promoted to Associate Head Coach

Lamoni, Iowa – The Graceland University Athletic Department and the Men's Basketball team is excited to announce the promotion of Todd Lorensen from his role as Assistant Coach to Associate Head Coach.

Lorensen will enter his second year at Graceland University in the 2023-24 season. He helped the 2022-23 Men's Basketball team to a 18-11 in regular play and 13-9 in the conference. Earning a spot in the Heart Men's Basketball Conference Championship.

Head Coach Taylor Langley states his excitement, "I've always believed that a head coach is only as good as his assistants. The turnaround we have had after adding Coach Lorensen to the program vindicates that belief. Todd has been instrumental in all aspects of the resurrection of the Graceland Basketball program. His experience as a successful head coach at the NAIA level and as a National Champion at the junior college level immediately raised the bar within the program. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him and grow this program along with my knowledge of the game. I am excited about what our program can accomplish with Coach Lorensen moving forward!"
